ABOUT THE WINERY:
Born into families of vignerons, Céline and Frédéric Gueguen began their adventure in 2013, after having worked together for about 10 years in the Domaine familial Jean-Marc Brocard, owned by Céline’s father. With a deep attachment to their roots, they gave birth to Domaine Gueguen, whose cellar is nestled in the heart of the Chablis vineyards. The company is made up of 36 hectares of vineyards, mainly made up of Chardonnay from the Bourgogne and Chablis appellations, Sauvignon from the AOC Saint-Bris and Pinot Noir from the AOC Irancy. The vineyards are located on plots located in Chablis and in Auxerrois. The uniqueness of the denominations is in itself a challenge, considering the various terroirs, so different from each other. The balance between soil and microclimate is in fact different in every place, a true mosaic with particularly evident variables at the time of the harvest, when several weeks separate the first from the last harvest. Domaine Gueguen adopts a reasoned approach to agriculture.
