Description
ABOUT THE WINERY:
Château Galoupet is a Cru Classé de Provence, made up of 77 hectares of protected wooded areas and 69 hectares of vineyards in transition to organic management since 2020.
In 2019, Château Galoupet was refounded by Jessica Julmy with the aim of giving life, through wine, to a high expression of the terroir, but also of the flora and fauna that inhabit the estate: a sanctuary for biodiversity, a model for organic viticulture, a beacon for sustainability for Moët Hennessy. For Château Galoupet, preserving the estate’s biodiversity is integral to the creation and evolution of the exceptional portfolio of terroir wines: the estate is working in partnership with local experts and associations to deepen its knowledge on the subject and understand the impact of biodiversity on vineyards and wines; it is also home to one of only 12 queen bee fertilization stations in the world.
