ABOUT THE WINERY:
The story of Bruno Giacosa starts from far away: a story of sacrifices and great wines. Passion and enthusiasm animate Bruno who humbly learns all the secrets of the trade. Initially, the Giacosa family winery only makes wine from grapes purchased from the best producers in the Langhe. But it will only be in 1982, with Bruno’s purchase of the Falletto vineyard in Serralunga, that the production of the prestigious Barolo Falletto will begin; in 1996 he will buy the Asili and Rabajà crus, by now very well known as they give life to unforgettable Barolo and Barbaresco. Bruno Giacosa’s love for great wines and his meticulous pursuit of perfection allow for no exceptions: quality must be absolute. If, for example, the vinification of a vintage does not meet his criteria, the wine is not bottled! Only thanks to a virtuous and traditional approach in the vineyard and in the cellar and to this strict selection, Bruno Giacosa’s wines always prove to be sublime and incomparable, known all over the world and hailed by experts and critics as among the best expressions of the Langhe.
